Sustainable Tourism Bogotá

This tour includes a diverse range of attractions, designed to give you the best overall view of the region and a glimpse at rural life surrounding one of Colombia's most picturesque colonial towns.

Explore the cobblestone streets, tour one of Colombia's wineries and learn about magnificent archaeological discoveries that have taken place nearby. Explore an intricately designed house made out of clay, visit the site where the famous Battle of Boyacá took place and take a dip in relaxing hot springs, surrounded by lush forest vegetation.

The tour includes accommodation in a mid-range hotel in the colonial town. Luxury hotels are available should you wish to upgrade. Click here for more information on the available accommodation options.

Things to know

Villa de Leyva is located roughly 3.5 hours from Bogotá to the north, in a warm micro-desert climate at 2100 m.a.s.l. The area is dry, with average temperatures ranging from 15ºC to 20ºC all year round.

Tour is priced at $395 per person based on a 2-person minimum. This includes private transport, a bilingual guide, accommodation in a mid-range hotel, breakfast, all entrances, personal traveler's insurance and a link to an online photo album.

*Please note that lunch & dinner are NOT included in the tour price. Pick-up and drop-off is from Pan Pa Ya in Chapinero. We recommend taking a full 3 days to get the most out of this tour option, but if you are short on time, we do have a 2-day itinerary available that covers both the salt cathedral and Villa de Leyva. Please send us an email to inquire about this option.
